Envy Gaming is seeking a Data and Analytics Director to manage, organize, and analyze consumer data across multiple channels and turn it into actionable business intelligence. This role will organize and communicate key KPI results to our leadership team and stakeholders across the company to help guide decision-making for our esports, consumer products, subscription membership, and digital content businesses.

This individual will become a key cross-functional contributor who will provide insights to drive strategic decision-making within the organization. Understanding marketing technology, digital attribution, paid media, and audience segmentation will be critical to success. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker who is comfortable being immersed in data.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish KPIs with all department heads and create methodology and processes to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across media (online and offline)
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to continuously provide insights and optimization recommendations in support of Membership, Audience Development, and Lifecycle Marketing KPIs.
  • Analyzes all social media analytics paid/organic (Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, etc.) to discover actionable data that leads to growth, efficiency, and new opportunities.
  • Budgeting, Managing, Optimizing, and Reporting on all Paid Media Campaigns and Efforts across all platforms (YouTube, Google, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Create and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and presentations on the engagement of various initiatives across all Envy / OpTic brands and sponsors
  • Partner with our sales team to ensure all Account Executives are responding to RFPs with the most timely and relevant data
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for data and analysis from a wide range of teams and personalities, including executives, marketing, growth, sales, e-commerce, and production
  • Help define the roadmap for marketing analytics and tools, delivering end-to-end ROI transparency.
  • Participate in implementing and maintaining digital measurement applications (Google Analytics/Tag Manager, etc.)

Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years work experience in an analytics or business analyst role; experience in the digital media space a must
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and skills in the rapidly-changing digital world
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
  • Ability to not just analyze data, but to understand what it means and tell a compelling story
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Comfortable presenting data visually in Powerpoint/Keynote or other applications
  • Working knowledge of enterprise analytics software (Adobe, Google, AWS, IBM) as an analyst; exposure to how these systems are implemented and tested is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of global data protection laws, standards, and associated frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and CBPR) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of accessibility best practices and tools
  • Working knowledge of paid search/social platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, etc.) and a strong understanding of the metrics involved
  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker, etc.) a plus
  • Familiarity with syndicated research tools such as comScore or Nielsen a plus
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Funnel.Io, Fivetran, SnowFlake, and BigQuery experience a plus

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, statistics, computer science, etc. preferred not required.
